What this site is
Digital Workshop is the public name for the tools and games on social-hub.io. It is a small UK-made site. There is no account system, no feed, and no app store listing. You open a page, use it in the tab, and leave. The domain is only the host.
The homepage is a short directory. Games holds click wars, skill checks, in-tab classics, a shared pixel canvas, and a name picker. Utilities holds photo, text, code, and calculator tools. Online Billboard is a paid 16×16 grid of squares you can rent. Contact is a form for bugs and ideas.
Who is behind it
William designs and builds Digital Workshop. He is a designer in the UK who writes the pages himself: layout, type, and the in-browser scripts. There is no company office, no team, and no app-store publisher behind the domain. The site is a personal workshop that ships public tools.
The work sits in ordinary HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. New pages are designed in the file, then put on social-hub.io. That is why the directory stays small. A tool is added when it is useful enough to keep, not to pad a list for ads.
Why it was built
Most “free tool” sites upload the file you drop, wrap it in accounts, and bury the job under pop-ups. This project started as a place to do one job in the tab: resize a photo, strip EXIF, format JSON, draw one circle, tap a side in a click war. If a lock badge is on the page, the file or text does not leave this device.
Games came next, for the same reason: play in the browser, no download, no login. A few of those games are live (totals, a pixel canvas, a paid grid). The rest stay local. If something is marked open, it should work in a current desktop or phone browser without an account.
What stays on your device
Most utilities never send your file or text to our servers. Image resize, EXIF strip, compression, QR codes, diffs, JSON, passwords, and the calculators run in the browser. A lock badge on those pages means the work happens locally. Settings such as a last list or a personal best may sit in local storage on this device only.
What is shared
A few games are live. Cats vs Dogs stores public click totals. Perfect Circle and Solitaire can show a three-character name on a public board if you lock a score. The pixel canvas stores the pixels people paint. The billboard stores the logo, colour, and link you pay to place.
Shared boards have a hard line: no hate speech, no NSFW, no spam that exists only to hijack the board. We remove violating pixels and billboard squares. A billboard square that breaks the rules is taken down without a refund. Details are on the privacy policy.
Advertising
Some game and utility pages reserve one horizontal strip for Google AdSense, to cover hosting. That strip is not on the homepage, the Games or Utilities menus, About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, the pixel canvas, or the billboard. The billboard is a separate, paid placement you choose. It is not a Google ad.
